I would probably go with Autometer then.
A turbo, exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it. With a supercharger, air goes in, witchcraft happens and you go faster - Jeremy Clarkson
Is it best to try and buy a complete turbo kit (turbine, blow off valve, intercooler, pipes, computer, etc) as a set, or do most people pick and choose different parts?
Also, how much psi is detrimental? When do the hp gains of the turbo tuned to a high psi, start to deminish the life span?

It is best to buy a complete kit unless you plan on going with a full custom turbo. You can pump all the boost you want as long as you have the supporting mods to back it up.

Hmm. Interesting. Which kit is best for life span/reliability as well as pushing my car down the street faster? I'm very new to the forced induction. I have a monthly draw form my checking to my savings, and it is finally looking like a turbo can be in my near future. I'm excited, but I want to be smart about it. Any and all help/thoughts/opinions are welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks again!!

Well, I'm hoping that a turbo kit is in my future as well. But it's looking like that will be a long ways away. I plan on going with the Dezod S1 myself. They claim gains that can get you into the 240-270whp area. And the kit is expandable up to 350hp. With a ball-bearing upgrade, I think it would be a nice little monster. Scion tC turbo
However, alot of people are holding off right now and waiting for the results on the Ptuning turbo kit. Ptuning.com - Item Description

I will check those out. I was reading up on the Greddy system. It looked okay. What do you look for in a solid turbo set-up?

Well, the deciding factor for me with Dezod is that their kits were specifically designed for the tC. They are actually bolt-on and go. No tune required, nothing. Some companies will have the exact same items in another turbo kit and market it for all cars.
