    Default methanol injection help

    anyone familiar with this ?

well i installed a coolingmist methanol injection kit.
as of right now im just using washer fluid.
i taped the line through the washer tank.
    works fine

i was just wondering how much more boost i can up and
what all i need to do to make it run right with the methanol kit.
im running 91 octane and my boost is currently set at 8.7 psi
    with a .6 bar spring.

i have the controller set on the methanol kit to start spray at 2psi

and my max is currently set at 9psi
it also has a 1-10 spray mode and i have it set at 3 which is like 35% from its max spray. my main concern is that i want to up boost but not over do it and make sure the car runs perfect

help on this matter would really be appreciated

I take it that you have a progressive controller? Do you have the optional fail-safe module (Cooling Mist Smart Controller)? What piggyback are you using? The smart controller can allow you to receive/send data with the piggyback. Using a dyno or set-of-the-pants run, you can turn up the boost in steps while maintaining a watchful eye on EGT and A/FR. At the point that you need to pull back timing, you begin to add more H2O/Meth injection. If you max out the pump, you will need a larger injector for the system. You should first experiment with the onset boost setting. 2 PSI is rather low to start injecting. This will cause you to waste your H2O /Meth and could quench your combustion flame causing an overly rich condition. That is bad MPG, on the cylinder walls (wash), and looses power. Small amounts of boost under a light load do not require intercooling on an average day. This is where the smart controller and a piggyback really shine. You can build a more finite table of injections schemes that logic more inputs to shoot the juice more efficiently and safely. What Octane fuel do you run?

yeah i just set it that low to see if it sprayed
i did a test run with the nozzle on the windshield.
it only starts to spray at WOT which is good.
but i set the minimum setting to 8 which is pretty much
when my boost fully kicks in. and 13 to max

all i got is the progressive controller
    yes but no smart controller
and i run the aem fic
    piggy back
