I would recommend you read thru this article as a good starting point and then post any questions that arise as you read through it because "All Info" is alot of info . A general knowledge of the system will help us explain it to you without writing a technical manual on the subject.

The S/C vs T/C discussion is a point of disagreement for many people, we have alot of threads about it here on the fourms that I recommend you read. If you like the Idea of a Turbo then PTuning, Dezod, and others make great kits for it, normally you can run about 8 PSI safely on the 2AZ-FE because that is what the TRD supercharger is designed to run at. Your looking at Horses near 275 if you run at 8 PSI. As for you having an automatic, some kits wont work, others make kits designed to fit the automatic transmisson. Most people purchased the Auto Version of the tC so there is alot of aftermarket support for them out there, run some Google on it or checkout

I was looking at the Dezod Scion tC turbo system and it says that they saw between 200-235whp on 5 PSI for the automatics and I looked at the PTUNING SPEC-SS Turbo Kit which said that it saw a 125+WHP gain @ 7psi over stock, my question now would be if i wanted to go with the Dezod could I run more than 5 psi on my auto? Say 7 or 8? And if I went with the PTUNING could i get more hp out of it if i wanted to? Also what is the difference of not getting the ball bearing upgrade and getting it? Would appreciate your response

Ball Bearing will allow the turbo to spool up much faster and allow you to achieve boost quicker, and yes the Dezod will be able to reach 8psi no problem. If you have any questions regarding the specifics of the systems I would reccomend you call the makers, but just be sure you realize that they are selling a product and want you to buy.
