    Default Using a T-25 Turbo????

Hey Navy....how goes it man? I am looking at running a T-25 turbo...obviously.
I am working with a friend of mine to configure it in a regular fashion or try for a rear mounted setup....the piping isn't an issue seeing as how I can get that done for next to nothing. I am wondering what would be a safe setup for this turbo...i was looking at around 8-10lbs of pressure, or if I can run it in a higher setting with stock internals (FOR NOW)....will do the rebuild once the car is paid off...which isn't that long away.

As always we ask the master...lol ( NIRL )

The t-25 might be a little too gutless for your ride. That is a very tiny turbo, i mean if you got it, use it but i would personally at the minimium run a T3/T4 and go up from there. The t-25's i thought also only have a 2" inlet with a 1.5" outlet.

More like the master of slow replies. Hmm, 3 weeks to answer a post. That is sad. Military life has kept me busy these past few months.

I am in no way any kind of tech resource on the different turbos (AR, compressor size, adiabatic, hybrid, etc). I do know that a T-25 turbo is weak sauce for a 2.4L motor. Your max boost might just be 10PSI. Rear mounting that unit would probably exacerbate this further. Most people run the T3/T4 hybrid on our stock motors with no problems. 300WHP is a realworld DD goal that is safe and reliable. A properly tuned setup with the right supporting mods can see 400WHP at the track on a stock motor. You can call and talk to Kenny or Tony at Jotech (972-278-9744) if you want the real 411 on a turbo setup for the Scion. They are the experts and the originators on the tC.

Again, I apologize for the overly long delay in response.
