    Default getting greddys rs bov to work on s/c...

    im tryin to hook up the bov on my s/c but it wouldnt open even when i put in all they way to soft..is it too hard of a spring or bad bov???anyone do this and have same trouble???????????

    You are running this in recirculation mode aka BPV aren't you? Running vented to atmosphere aka BOV is no going to work very well. With the Type RS in hand, are you not able to press down of the valve and get it to unseat at all? Is this a new or used piece? You can unbolt the top with an allen wrench (3mm?) and check for a bad diaphragm or an obstruction.

    i finally got i to unseat..having trouble getting it to release tho i adjustid it to soft still nothin so i took it apart to check for somethin inside but it was fine its a new one but pretty sure its a knock off...got it off ebay.if i took out one spring cuz there are 2 and adjusted it all the way to hard would that work????

    Yeah, that tends to happen with Ebay parts; lot's of knock-offs. You might try lubing the shaft. Can you post up some picts of it?
