Default Is a turbo ok to put in your car??

So ive had my car for about 3 years and ive put a CAI, header, and a muffler (cause i was told a full exhaust wouldnt be much different) and i want more power. The thing is that ive been reading on all these people that have been putting turbos in their Tc's and ive been told it will destroy your car so i wanna find out what will really happen if you put one in and if its actually worth putting one in. So some input would be awesome. Thanks guys.

A turbo upgrade won't kill your tC unless you buy the wrong kit, or over boost it. There are entry level turbo kits that will net you 7-9lbs of boost with no issues. With any turbo upgrade, its best to get it professionally tuned. If your tC is an automatic, you won't be able to exceed 10lbs without upgrading the internals of the engine, a manual transmission and a transmission cooler.

ok im glad to hear that haha. Ive just been told you have to change a bunch of stuff on your car so it will handle it so from your personal opinion do you have to do that?? or is it that you just have to tune it right???

It depends on the kit you buy and what HP gains your seeking. Dezod, PTuning and Garrett all make great turbo kits. A tune is recommended for peak potential.
