It is surprising to find the Petroleum distributors spending huge amount towards publicity, and sponsoring of sports events which is estimated to be around 15% of their budget. These companies does not need any publicity and will have to only run an efficient distribution system to market their products in India. It is regrettable to find the arguement of the Hon. Minister commenting that the the increase is to offset the loss of the Petroleum industry.
