hows it goin im rob n i just got my tC 2 weeks ago and already have big plans for it. so far i spray painted my grill silver, replaced the turn signals with blue bulbs instead of the standard yellow ones, Aem cold air intake system and a magnaflow exhaust system that i find wierd cause it looks diffrent from all the other one i saw for the tC but it looks so hot

Just a FYI, the cops see your turn signal flash blue, most states blue is illegal due to police. So if you get pulled over for it, dont cuss the cops for "messing with imports".

yea i know. i just wanted something diffrent though. so far none of the cops did anything but im still waiting for the day one does.

its oretty easy actually just take out the twist the socket where the blinker bulb is. pull the bulb and replace it. it shows you how in the manual

on i thought you changed the ones in the side mirrors

nope not yet there next though once i figure it out. i work at a scion dealership and once i have time to me and one of the techs are going to do it

I hope that I don't get hassled; I also just swapped the blinkers for Xenon blue yesterday (they’re supposed to imitate HID brightness...... and they do ) .
I also installed an 8000KHID kit 2 weeks ago, I got it off line.
I think it's too soon, but I still haven't been pulled over. If they don't get me for the lights they'll get me for the speed or both

If I get a ticket for the lights I assume it would be a "fix it ticket" meaning swipe the lights for the legal show them I'm a good boy.... drive down the corner and switch them back

If you figure out how to swipe the lights in the mirror please let me know. I really want to do this modd to my car. Cuz right now it looks strange with a blue and yellow blinker

There are guys out there offering LED swaps for the mirrors. There is also how-to's on SL. It is not too difficult. I would like to see a complete assembly swap that incorporates a spot beam for cornering. That area is so dark.

PIAA makes a 7440 wedge base bulb that they call mirror orange. It is legal and looks sharp. Bulb looks almost clear when not illuminated, yet gives a very bright nearly orange light.
