Default New Car

Ok well ill start by saying im looking to get a new car and within the past 3 months ive driven just about everything. Ive been looking into a couple main vehicles...they are (in random order)

1.) Scion Tc
2.) Mazda 3
3.) Nissan SE-R Spec V
4.) Toyota Celica GT-S

Ive read alot of reviews about this car and it looks like a great car however many people say that the clutch is not real good on the vehicle and many say the handling is not the tighest. I understand its a pretty quick car, but i do occasionally race my cars on tracks and i want something that can turn.

So what are yours guy's likes and dislikes about this vehicle?

Well i meant new to me. I love the styling of scions, but even though they are a 2.4li engine they still get there @$$ kick by a 2.5 nissan Sentra Spec V

Sounds like somebody is not racing very well. I have seen 2 tC's with just IHE beat 350Z's.

Look around and I still don't believe that you can get more bang for the buck and options like the tC. If you just want track car then go with what performs the best out of the box.

The tC handles just fine with springs and swaybar upgrades. The TRD set is great for the street. I have the Hotckis Stage I TVS system + Front Strut bar and the OEM struts. I can take any corner with ease. My problem is the Potenzas. The more wear they get, the harder the tread becomes equalling to lesser traction. You could order the optional 18" wheels with any rubber that you want on them.

well right off the start the money going into it would be a CAI and a front strut/swaybar. How about the clutch on the tc? Like i said the car had great ratings it was just the clutch and handling.

I push my car hard and the cutch has hel up nicely. It is not the best clutch in the world as it is a bit "springy" under torque load.
