What kind of gas is everyone putting into their car? What is recommended? I use 87 but would spending the extra be worth it? Just looking for some input before I make that decision. Thanks.

We are almost at 3.00 for 87 here in RI at some stations it already is but I just drive a few miles over the border to Mass because their gas tax is cheaper so its averaging about 2.80 there.
nonetheless it's pointless to pump anything more than 87.
but remember.... what brand you use is much more important.... no crappy cheap gas... buy top tier.

I always use Shell, and very, very rarely I will use Mobil but 99% if the time its Regular Unleaded at Shell.
Ya'll need to read up on where your gasoline comes from. Important things that you should know.

I can tell you that when I cruise to Texas on Leave (9hour trip), I use 89 Octane w/o any problems. Matter of fact, till I added the Greddy Ultimate and got tuned, my car ran better on 89 as per 93 Octane. That's a TRD S/C running 9PSI. The Scion ECM will take care of you, as long as, it is not 95F+ and/or your hotrodding around.

I put 87 in mine. The price here is around $2.92
i put 89 in mine(about$3.43 currently). my owners manual told me to "research" 91, but i really don't see the need for a naturally aspirated engine to run anything over 89.
