Deal or no deal?

I have a question for u guys ive wanted a tc for a long time and now almost in the process of buying one but need to make sure that im getting a good deal from my buddy. He is selling he 2005 tc for 12,800$. It has hids, lowered, cold air intake and tint. Manual good interior no stains and brand new mats. Ext looks brand new no scratches or fading but has 38,000 miles which is a little over. Here is a pic and let me know what u think?

38Kmiles on a tC is nothing. The warranty is fully transferable. $12.8K ain't a bad price at all w/ the extras. In Louisiana people are selling 2005 models for nearly the price they bought it.

Well, I did a little research:

Kelly Blue Book Value: $13k - $15.2k

Looking over completed listings on ebaymotors, there were a couple of similar cars that sold for around $13.5k .... they had slightly lower miles .... around 20k. I would say that the price isn't so bad... providing that the car has been well taken care of...

I would also say that there is some barganing room in that price... I have to believe that if you told him you'd take it at $12k tomorrow ... he'd be fine with that....

Now, what to do with the extra $800 for upgrades!!!

What do you guys think of this deal? the outside is in decent condition. the LH mirror is broken so i have to fix it- (around $110 if i fix it i think).

Thats alot of miles for a 05 i wouldnt ask for anything more than 9
