Need help with radio cover

Any tips on opening the radio cover ? Its a bit troublesome.......

My salesperson used a jabbing motion with the fingers and he got it to open every time. That works most of the time for me but now I don't even bother closing it because I still have the stock deck.

I've heard somewhere that if you take the lid off there is a small piece of felt on the hinge of the door thats been causing the problem. Haven't taken it apart to really know.

i know there is felt there but don't know if it is causing the problem

I usually just poke it with my index finger and it pops right open.... Others having trouble with it sticking?
