Question Prepaid Maintenance Plan

I just purchased the '08 TC. Any suggestions if it was a good idea to purchase and include as part of the financing package a $900 prepaid maintenance service plan? If I decide to cancel this service, will the dealer adjust my monthly payment or will refund me the $900 in cash and I'll be stuck with the higher payment? I'll appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks! I'm new to this forum.

I know everyone has their opinions about this kind of stuff but anyway, my sister bought a package like that for her car and said it was the best thing she could have done, Eventually it will pay for itself. Just to put that out there.

I upgraded the warranty to 5 yrs 60k bumper to bumper for $590, which i thought was a good deal.

I'm a pretty strong supporter of warranties and insurance and stuff, so i would say it's a good deal depending on what it covers...

How many miles/years?

I think the later scheduled maintanences run around $200 or so even if they don't fix anything, so it sounds like a good idea.

Does it bring in the cost of wearable items? will it cover the brake replacement, belts etc, parts as well as labor?

btw, once your loan is set, any money you throw at it (from refunds or just paying extra every month) will go straight to the principle balance. the only way to decrease your monthly payment would be to refinance with a lower principle.
