Default Accident

Sadly today I rear ended someone, one of those split second deals, look away for no more than a second turn back and there was the bumper, prob going no more than 10mph and when we got out to check damage the only noticeable damage was my license plate cover, should I have anything else checked out just to be safe or should everything be alright?

As long as you popped the hood and checked for anything in your frame (which should be fine with that small of an impact), you should be just fine.

Sorry to hear that btw. Glad it was only 10 MPH though.

It shouldn't be a problem... listen and feel for anything out of the ordinary like new sounds or vibrations. You don't notice anything new.... then you should be fine.

Good luck,

just to be safe i'd take the front bumper off, take a look at your wiring and the foam bumper to make sure every thing's still sitting pretty, you want to make sure nothing possibly messed up the front impact collision sensors.

It happens. Your bumper is crash rate tested to absorb a 15mph headon impact with no significant damage.
