Cool Hey guys! Im new to this forum. Need some help.

Im a newbie looking some info and clarification. I will be buying a 08 tc AT this coming week and i was wondering if anyone can help me decide on a security alarm system. I decided to not get the factory alarm, so i was looking into an aftermarket. The ones im looking at is a Clifford Matrix 50.5X or a AutoPage RS-900. Which one is better for the tc AT? any help is appreciated! thanks.

Yes, the Scion Security option reallly is expensive and only provides a glass breakage sensor. I was very much not amused once I realized this. Clifford and Viper are excellent alarms. It is all about how much you want to spend. The crux of an alarm system is actually the work involved to install. Don't skemp here. Pay the extra for a real professional to do the labor. Insist on solder connections and no crimps.

just wanted to know what kind of aftermarket alarm system everybody is using in their tc. I know Clifford/Viper are probably the best money can buy, but i wanted to try something different. Does anyone know anything about the AutoPage alarm? I kinda want to try this one out. btw, thanks navylife59 for the install tip. =)

I have the Clifford 881 from Circuit City. Its expensive but its a great alarm. I bought it awhile back when I bought my 03 Civic...Circuit City has this thing where if you get a new car, they'll take it out the old one and put it in the new one for free. So far its been through my Civic, then went into my Corolla, then went into my Jetta, went into my truck, now that Im getting a tC it will go in there.

Great alarm!

alrite guys! i finally was able to narrow my choices down to the Viper system. But, after some research i found two systems i like, the 7900 or 5900. The 5900 has the 1mile range, but the 7900 has the OLED display. I can't decide! what do u guys think?

Who will be installing it? If you plan to have a shop do it, then you may have to select a brand that the shop carries. If you are doing it yourself, then you can obviously go for whatever has the features that you are looking for.
