i love the tc and all but 2.4 is so large for the pretty low hp. i wish the tc came with the 1.8 2zz atleast as an option. has anyone here tried the swap? i know alot of people on here want that 6th gear. whats holding everyone back?
also that new matrix xrs looks chill. awd with the 2az. i might have to pick one up too since its the same engine |

The 2AZ-FE does not make alot of power out of the box, just alot of torque. What makes the 2AZ-FE so great is it is rock solid and constant to build some awesome power from. There is a Nitto tC made 739WHP being mega boosted. The is also a N/A 2AZ-FE tC on the NOPI drag circuit that makes a reliable 400WHP+. These are built engines with the boosted one having mild work done on the block/head and the N/A being a $15K bored/stroked monster.
