Default new here

Hello all.

Picked up a brand new Scion tc a few weeks ago for my girlfriend, and even though i tried to talk her into somthing else, i was actually pretty impressed with the tc. Its white, and fully loaded, 17's, pioneer 160 watt sound system, bad ass sunroof, etc etc etc. i was really impressed with the sound system, it sounds really good for a stock system, and i was suprised to see projector headlights on a car that was less than 20k! She is pretty happy with it. My only complaint is the lack of power... but im used to driving a heavily moddified/boosted car so i may be spoiled.

Anyway, Im just here to learn a bit about the car.

We want to do springs, and possibly a lip kit, and a few other visual mods, but im trying to talk her into some performance mods as well... nothing major, like i said its my girls car, but i was thinking at least an i/h/e combo. of course its a brand new car with a warranty... so i was wondering from those of you who modd and still have warranties, how flexible are toyota dealerships when it comes to aftermarket parts???? I know from back when i was worried about my warranty, saturn dealerships could get pretty hard to work with about things as minor as an intake.

Can I ascertain that your GF has an auto? If I am correct in my deduction, then your GF's tC is suffering from 5-speed envy. These are two totally different creatures; the 5-speed and the auto. Go test drive a 5-speed and you will find a marked difference in torque.

For which performance mods that you should look at, we have a stickied thread in the Performance Section.
