Default Blitz Air Filter

Hello All,
First of all, I want to introduce myself to the forum. I'm new to this forum and I currently don't own a tC yet. But I am doing my research on the vehicle that I'm looking into. If I were to purchase a tC, it will be an automatic transmission. Planning to purchase a TRD S/C kit. One thing I will like to ask is, if I were to install a Blitz Air Filter (Scion TC 2005-2006 [26151] - $298.00 : Blitz, Power Site) will it void any factory warranty. Second of all, is any air filter aside that are not CARB legal. Living in the Bay Area of California, I want to keep my car CARB legal so I don't have to worry about cops. Thanks for the information.

Welcome to the Forum. Your getting ahead of the game by researching ahead. You will have to contact the vendor directly for CARB compliance with their product. If you are planning on the TRD S/C, then I would wait for the filter. The S/C modifiy the stock airbox. Wait till after it is installed to change.

The way voided warranties work is ONLY if the item can be proven by the manufacturer that it caused the damage. If so it will not void the entire warranty, only the repairs/item that had to be taken care of. Hope that helps.
