high reving tcs -_-

This is a discussion on high reving tcs -_- within the General Discussion forums, part of the Scion tC category; is there anyway to tune the tc so it wont rev so high?...

    Default high reving tcs -_-



    is there anyway to tune the tc so it wont rev so high?

    why would you do that? hell, im replaicing my entire valve-train just so i can tune the car to rev to 8500 without breaking stuff(stock limiter was at 6500, currently reving to 7200).

    ohh
    i ment so like when i do the speed limit
    i can have my rpm as close to 2k as possible
    thats what i meant
    is it possible to increase the rev limit of the tc?

    That has everything to do with vehicle speed, gearing and overall wheel size. Currently, you can only affect 2 out of the 3. This is why we have been screaming for a 6-speed option.

    Unfortunately for tC's, the only way to defeat the RPM limiter is via a standalone system. Piggybacks can't change the encrpytion of the Toyota ECM.
