    Question k&n intake?

i was wondering if anyone knows if the k&n intake, the one that uses the stock bottom piece of the airbox would fit an 08" tc?

I was interested in this particular intake but i noticed that it only says up to 06" tc.

As far as I know, the bottom housing should be compatible. The MAF sensor (different for '07-up) is located in the upper housing. The TRD S/C changes out the bottom housing for '05-06 and the entire housing for '07-up.

wait i think i'm confused? i think the intake i was talking about uses the top portion of the stock airbox. Yeah i think its the bottom piece that gets replaced? So the sensors in the 07 and up change? meaning that thist K&n intake would not work for the 08 tc?

The new K&N air box replaces only the top portion of the OEM airbox. That is also where the MAF is located.
