I figure, since sometimes the technical forum traffic gets a little slow, that I'd just throw some hypothetical discussion out there just for fun.

Let's assume you're a die hard tC owner till death (ala navylife ) and you had the option to own, tune, and racer one of the following cars:

Honda S2000


Mitsubishi LanEvo


Subaru Impreza STi


Nissan Skyline GT-R 35 (Yet to be released)


Which one would you choose and:

1. Why would you choose it over the others?
2. What type of racing would you tune it for?

GT-R

1. New frame, total badness
2. Tuned as a supercar, kill anything and everything on the road.

I would go for the GT-R as well. World class, JGTC destroying grip driving, on top of monstrosity power.

And the new body looks dead sexy as well.


I would tune this as a pure large circuit T/A weapon. Without a doubt.

I have to say an Evo. I'm biased, I own one. LOL. I love the way Evo's handle and modding her is really not too expensive. I have a turbo back exhaust with no cat and a tune an dynoed at 300 whp(on 91 octane), base line was 245 whp. If I go with cams and larger injectors and MSD I should be able to get 330-340 WHP and thats on 91. Not bad. And like aI said I love the way she handles.

I typically go to autox, but sometimes I go to Thunderhill and Infineon raceway.

I know the socalEvo guys really well, and was very good friends with the owner of the club.

Yeah, I'm in norcal evo. I used to live in garbage grove and hung out with the long beach guys on socal evo.

I was nearly at all the meets. Metro point, and even the Best Buy meets in Tustin before the cops broke it up.

I met Ultraflip a few times and maybe macky, I never met Rob. I went to the Tustin meets a couple of times, but mostly went to the long beach meets. I set up the regular meets in sac for norcalevo and its starting to grow now. (finally) lol

i'd tune it for everything! destroy any and all competition in any event! with the kind of money to own that car you should be able to tune it to your liking every morning! feel like drag racing today? feel like driftin tomorrow? wanna tear up a road course on sunday? I'M IN LOVE WITH THAT CAR! (pass me a napkin )
