    Default HID Lighting

I just got an '08 Tc recently. It has the projector headlights stock, though I'm looking to upgrade them from the halogen lights to an HID kit. I do have some questions regarding this and was wondering if anyone could help.

    1) I was looking through this site, and saw the Mod-Express site and their HID kits. I was wondering if anyone has used their products and knows if they're reliable.
    2) I used the sizing guide they provided, and it said I would need H11 size bulbs. Is this correct?
    3) They say they provide everything that is needed, would I also need the relay harness they offer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you need to get a H11 kit that is correct.

I actually got the Mobile HID kit for my '08 tc, I got them for $140 bucks on a group sale on another forum. They're extremely HIGH quality HID kits. I would recommend Mobile HID kits.

But if you're going to go outside of Mobile HID, just make sure your HID kit comes with ballasts, and a relay harness. You want plug/play applications, no wire splicing or that other nonsense.

    Awesome, thanks Graphite.

And thanks to Soulbane too. I looked at the Mobile HID kits, and their a little more expensive, though if they're such high quality, then it may well be worth the extra money.

they bang on them with a hammer and dunk 'em in water and they still work!

that's high quality and well worth a little extra IMO!

Soulbane: did your HID kit include what looks like a rubber grommet situated between the bulb and the plugs for the ballast? what do you do with that? my instructions say nothing about that piece and i cant remove it easily
