Default got my HID kit

it's a 6000k and i got what i wanted it's a $210 kit but there's a promo code "scionlife" which then makes the whole kit $140 out the door

and as you can clearly see the right headlight is before and left is after..... and no i didn't leave my headlights like this..

i have TRD front strut, Injen CAI, TRD Exhaust, and just got my TRD Rear sway bar and TRD lowering spring for me and a friend of mine (waiting to get the last two items installed)

That's the kit I got. I'm happy with it, even tho the reversed ballast plug confused the heck out of me.

6000K is the perfect color too! I love how its got just a hint of purpleish blue.

I got the 5000 kit from Mobile HID. I love the clarity.

Altough the 6000 and even the dreaded 9000 kits have a wicked color spectrum, you actually lose visibility and overall lumen strength after 4300.

The best HID kit, for the best illumination, is the 4300 which produces 100% of all possible lumens. I got the 5000 because I liked the crystal white with a hint of blue look.

I didn't find out about all this until I bought the HID kit.

lol....

So just a lesson for those looking for a kit.

too bad most cameras wont pick up the subtle color differences cuz i'd really like to see the difference between my 6000k and your 5000k

theres this kid by my house. sells brand new HID kits out the door for 125. idk how he gets them, but he does, and all of my friends have them. i happen to have a 6000k sitting at my house, my friends with the cobalts have 8000k. love them all.

thanks for the lesson! i was considering 6000K but if 5000K is whiter, then thats what i want
