Default Another Death Due To Street Racing

Here is the reason why street racing is not condoned here. This finally proves those people who say street racing doesn't put anyone at risk but themselves are just plain stupid. Here is a kid now facing manslaughter charges at 18. Let's keep it off the street guys.

KCRA News 10: According to California Highway Patrol, two Mazdas were racing on Del Paso Road near Arco Arena at about 4 p.m. Friday when a Chevrolet Cavalier made a left turn and crossed in the racers' path. Officers say one of the Mazdas struck that car broadside, flipping it over and killing 40-year-old Kimberly Marie Wheeler of Woodland instantly. Wheeler had been pulling out of the parking lot at the coffee shop where she worked when her car was struck

Both driver of the Mazda, 18-year-old William Joseph Mitchell, and a passenger were taken to the U.C. Davis Medical Center. CHP officials said his injuries are not life threatening, and indicated Mitchell will likely face vehicular manslaughter charges when he is released from the hospital.

According to witnesses, the other vehicle involved in the street race fled the scene. It is described as a Black Mazda RX-7 driven by a white male adult who goes by the first name of Matt.

All I can say is pray for their families and people need to keep racing at tracks and designated sites

yeah, read the article. these jacksticks were racing in DOWNTOWN Sacramento at 4:00 P.M. ON FRIDAY. The WORST California traffic, period, is at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Stupid, stupid. Try 5 a.m. on Sunday if you want to drive like an **shole.
