Yeah I know. Now that i'm charged I want to see if I can take a TL. Probably not tho those things are pretty quick.

I live in Downey, Ca, a solid 10min drive from Road Race engineering, where they specializing in Mitsu's 4g63 and have John Mueller in suspension.
Anyways, they popped in a spare 4g63 into a mirage for kicks and giggles. Suffice it to say, a lot of people were surprised at the results.

like previously stated. the only way you have a chance is if you get yourself some boost. turbo is your best bet. if you turbo your car, youll take the tl. lets say your car turbo'd makes 230whp, the TL only makes 270, so about 240 or so to the wheels. now im not the smartest kid ever, but i think its safe to say that tl is probably 400 pounds heavier than you, and that doesnt equal out to a 10hp difference. however, once you hit 127, say goodbye cuz the tl will fly by

yeah I/H/E will bump your hp up a little, and give you better throttle response too. Every little bit helps.

my friend owns a 05 TL and I must say you will never catch a TL...serveral reasons why. First being the top end is above 140mph (we have proved this already), the TC can only do 127. Getting a turbo might make u get to 127 faster but still...your racing a Vtec v6 ! 2nd being the vtec, lets not forget about how legendary this is. I dont know what year TL you were racing but the 05 and up and are serious. They also come with trip-tronic, that nifty thing that allows you to down shift manually. The last reason being the gears, I think its a 6 speed... Jus stick to racing your own class, 4 cylinders. You will see better results, trust me. Oh and if you got a automatic, do not, I repeat do not race a stick. I can attest to that one !

dude ace boogi3 already dominated a TL and has video proof, and just because it had a better top speed doesnt mean its faster. Where the hell am i going to be able to race someone going 127. ive only hit it once and i really dont need to be going that fast. A 6 speed compared to a 5 speed means nothing. If the tC has a 5 speed and is boosted it is better, because the gears are longer allowing for more boost. Trust me i will be eating them in a few months.

Well, I would just like to end this conversation by saying my Skyline GT-R 35 will defeat all three.
