Oil Change?

I get my oil changed at toyota for free every 5k cause of warrenty, when I had my celica I ran mobil 1 syn every 3k that's because I was the trainging manager for jiffy lube and I got it for free lol but the dealers say you can go every 5k but that's because the oil scions start of with is syn blend that's what they don't tell you but its good if you change it every 3k no matter what type of oil you use

I was thinking about buying a 350z but when I went to the dealership and I test drove it I was thinking about the gas prices right now since there going up and not stopping anytime soon I decided to stay with the tc. Its ok tho I'm happy

Its actually good oil it replaced mobil 1 at jiffy lube broadbase

I do not bother with Amsoil only because there is no where around here that sells it and it is not much better than M1 or RP.
It is pointless to maintain a 3k OCI, there is no advantage to changing at 3k instead of 5k. It just wastes your money and hurts the environment. Get your oil analyzed after trying both and I bet you will see that the oil is holding up just as good at 5k as it was at 3k.
