Yep and thats proven to keep you sludge free. My dads 04 camry had 90k miles when the dealership pulled the head like they do on all cars they were amazed no sludge or anything

You can make the light come on every 3K by letting out the button when there are three dashes when doing what chyz-dad described. Changing every 3K is unnecessary, oils and engines have advanced a whole lot since the time that they came up with the 3K number.

Toyota told me that Scion's oil changes are every 5K and that's what I do.

i've faithfully changed mine every 3K (comin up on 42K!) and i've used mobil 1 since the first three changes scion did. i plan on having my tC forever
