Exclamation Question about HID's and S-Pipe

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you have installed the Mod-Express HID's and I wondered how easy they are to install??? Im getting mine in the mail today...There 6000k's.
And about the S-Pipe, Does it make your exhaust throadier???? I have a Greddy Ti-C axleback on my TC. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I'm going to assume that you have the '08 tc with the stock projector healights.

It's a piece of cake 10min install if you know what you're doing.

Have you done anything similar to this before?

I have the mod express 6000k also. Everything was good except for when I tried to plug in the hid bulb harness to the ballast. It looks like it goes in 1 way, but you'll have to flip it around & put it on the difficult way. You'll know what I'm talking about once you open the kit & test fit the pieces.

To me the 6000k is about as bright as the regular headlights, but the glare created lights up signs further down the road. I dunno, maybe my expectations were too high for the 6000k & I should've stuck with the 5000k?

As for the s pipe... I haven't gotten that far modding yet lol

I actually have an 06 TC with the regular headlights. Im pretty mechanically inclined because I have a '71 Plymouth Roadrunner and that thing always has something to work on. Thats american muscle for you.

I got the H11 bulbs which are correct I hope because I saw you say that in a previous post.

Anybody have an S-Pipe here?? I wanna know what it would do to my exhaust tone.

You need a conversion kit, if you don't have the stock projector headlamps.

HID's without projectors is kind of a moot point.

I think h11 bulbs are for the 08 tC projectors. 9006 are the 05-07 low beams, 9005 are high beams. Google the Osram Sylvania company and use their bulb referance chart to check what you havve. I think you may need to reorder new bulbs...

Removing any restriction in an exhaust system is going to increase flow and lower pressure. This, inexcertibly, will cause an increase in decibel level. The S-pipe, however, does not have a resonating effect like a catalytic convertor or muffler has so the increase in sound should be minimal. Unfortunately, I changed my header at the same time so I cannot be certain of the exact increase in sound.
