IPOD Attachment

I am trying to figure out what i need to hook up my IPOD in my 07' tC. I found this kit that is like $149.00 at Best Buy but not sure if that is what I need. Seems like just a cable would be needed to hook into the IPOD spot in the center console, but maybe there is more to it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I have the '08 tC, but isn't the IPOD connection cable come with the car?

ya it came standard from 08 and up but idk if the cable came with the car from earlier years

Do the earlier models have the input jacks inside the middle arm rest box?

my 06 has an input jack, but i have to buy the double ended male cable and a 3.5mm to 2.5mm jack adapter. not necessarily an "Ipod" hook up, but it serves the same function... seeing as i'm one of the few americans who doesnt have an ipod, but an MP3 phone.

i have on 08, just plug in and play.

yeah those jacks are pretty cheap too!
4 bucks! and serves a great purpose!
i rather have a jack than pay 150+ put an authentic connector from apple.
