Ahhh!!! Dont Know What To Do!

i know this is long but please read it and help me out!

someone hit me when i was completly stopped at at red light! i was 6 cars back and had been stopped for about 10 seconds then all of the suden BAM! someone hit me doing 40! it tore the back of my scion up so bad! and they said they could fix and make it better than the way it was! but i got it back this morning and it was freaking terrible! there were scratches on it that were not there before and they didnt do anything right! my engine clicks and its all dirty, my neon kit that i spent 300 dollars on was replaced with a 60 dollar kit! and my subs dont work anymore! i had a 2000 dollar system and there broken! the place did a terrible job and i dont know what to do besides take it back! but i dont think they will fix it to normal! my baby will never be back to the way it was! ugh!! someone have any advice!? please please please! i have a list of 14 major things that are bad that need to be fixed! HELP!

Damn dude I'm so sorry to hear that. I know exactly what you're going thru...

1st thing is to contact your insurance company. If the problems weren't fixed correctly they should be able to help by contacting the shop and making them re-do whatever they screwed up.

If that doesn't work then there isn't much else you can do. I'd start looking for a new insurance compane and a new car. Simple as that. Your baby will never be the same after an accident, no matter how small...

did you call the insurance company 1st? is this repair shop who you your insurance sent you to?

if you called your insurance and ask one of there there guys that examins wrecks and soon before you took it to that place then they can send you to some other place that they recomend but if you didnt do that then i would call the insurance company your with and see how bad it is repare and if they say its unfixable then you can try get how ever much you car is worth and buy another one by paying off the difference the insurance gave but im sorry this happened to you i know what your going through because my tC was totalld and now im using the insurance money to get another one

ya! the first thing i did was call her insurance company and the lady who hit me, i called hers too! and they refered us to this place. so we take it there, it took 5 weeks to fix and then i get it back and the onlt thing they fixed was the bumper! they didnt change the exhaust that is al dented up or anything!!!! they slapped a new bumper on there and took it through the wash and gave it back to me! and i dont smoke, and when i got ny car back, its reiked with smoke! they smoked in it whiile they were working on it! i have 2 pages of complanints and things they skipped over! its just upsetting knowing my baby is getting treated like that! just geting peices thrown in it! and can a wreck that hit you in the back mess up your engine? my throtle response SUCKS now! and the gas pedal doesnt allways work, so idk what to do. i was driving then tried sppeding up and i noticed an extreme throtle problem and then it just reved up like i was in N! i was in D! but ya i did everything i was supposed to do! my dad is an insurance agent so he made sure everyting was done right!

what year did you have because if had an 05-07 tC then you can forget about most of your engine mods if you had any but if had 08 i would say go for the brand new 09 tC that just came out

but glad to see that you called your insurance smart move and i hope that everything works out for you

yea that's an extreme case that, if you document everything, you probably have a good case. pics before and after help big time, but everything should be documented since this went thru the insurance companies. i hate people who sue for dumb **** they could have avoided, but this is all on them and deservedly so. GO GET 'EM!!!

ha ha i will bro! i found more stuff in my car earlier! there is glass all over the back seat and there is coke in the back seat!!! not the drink! the drug! its either that or something that looks just like it! its shoved down in one of the corners and some of the "contents" got on the back seat! and its missing many peices like that back tail light cover and a bunch of stuff like that! small stuff. but improtant stuff! my car looks like trash! im scared to drive it! there are things crackling in the engine and a bunch of other #### wrong! and my rents are telling me that " life suks" and that i need to deal with it! i was like h&ll NO!!!

take pictures!!!!!!!!!!! dont touch it until you take pics of it! have a cop come by on a non-emergency call and inspect the "white substance"

yeah man, dont accept it, they have to repair what the insurance pays for. and if they dont, take it back. and if they dont again, take it up in court or something idk. i know what your going through. i got hit on my passanger side inbetween the rear wheel and the door and it took 2 weeks to fix, and they would have put the wrong side skirt on it if i hadnt been there to tell them it wasnt the right piece. as long as your insurance approved and signed off on the amount ($) for all the repairs, they have to do it. at least thats how it works in jersey
