See that's the thing around here though. No one really cares about performance or knows anything about it. What we have is old people with corvettes. Lol the kids that have nice cars are usually stock. There are a lot of v dubs around but only because its a trend. Not many are pushin more then 150 HP. The fad is buying old vw's. Because they think if they have a Volkswagen that they have the fastest car around and 2 that they are the coolest kid on the block. Everyone up here thinks they're better then everyone else with their cars. That's why I'm glad I found this club. Everyone is super helpful and supportive.

yea i think at least here in jersey it's definitely a bunch of young kids bein arrogant thinking they're somehow cooler than me cuz they have... a tC

i have only ran into two guys willing to talk about their tC's - both of which i started the conversation.

but yea if you have hid's, rims, springs, or a ridiculous body kit or graphic, you'll at least get looked at. waved to? depends on the person. im waving to everyone here at the club right now!

Yeah man I'm more interested in just being part of a group of people that love their cars and love seeing other people love their cars. That sounds so hippi ish lol. But for real. People up here think their sh** don't stink. Its annoying.

same **** out here, a buncha kids that think theyre too cool to even associate with you unless your in theyre car club. I pulled up to hooter a few months ago and saw a buncha tuner cars and one of them I knew the owner. I walked up to him and was like yo come check out the tc and ****, he was like it looks nice man. Then I saw one his boys owned a tc, it was turbo'd so I tryed to talk to the kid and ask if I could see his engine n ****. Yo this kid was so ****ing stuck up I just wanted to ***** slap him. He wouldnt even acknowledge me pretty much, and we had the same damn car! I tryed asking him what kit he had and hes like "uhhh I dont show my engine" like if i was gonna take it out and throw it in the back of my car or something. I went back to my boy and asked him what was up with that kid and hes like " yea he acts really stuck up when you ask him about his car" ....wow I could see if I was trying to race him or something.

Then I asked my friend if I could join theyre car club, lol this is where it gets funny. I cant join because Im not boosted... I had the nicest car there ( as mentioned by everyone there) but I couldnt be in theyre little club lol wwwwoooooooooooooowwwwwwww! they had a COROLLA, like 2nd gen with turbo! pretty hilairious, Ive gotta take a picture of it when I see it again. Its gotta be push 140 hp! lol those things come with like 90 hp stock, why someone would upgrade it I dont know..but ya Im trying to start my own TC ONLY car club here

Wow I'm not the only person that has to deal with stupid people. Well heres what I have to deal with. I usually get off work at 8 ish and go to starbucks and sometimes there's like these kids there with civics and mayb like 2 tc's. Well first time I saw them I went in starbucks got my drink and then when I got back to my car there like you wanna race my tc, my cars stock to I was like your dumb thinking I'm stock. They were like but we only race for money wtf! I was like Ima smoke you and they were all takin s**t like he's not goin to race you he's scared and stuff. So we raced for 100 and I killed him he had like a s/c and I / e / h I think not sure tho but I was like good race and he was like F*** that, now whenever I see them at starbucks they give the evil eye lol.

ha good boy. i cant stand punks like that. im happy to hear u shut him up. unfortunately i cant afford turbo or even a supercharger at this point. saving for a custom dual exhaust and the weapon r headers right now. got the secret weapon intake as of now. but again im just a daily driver workin for like 9 an hour. so eventually. ha but really happy to hear u put them in their place!

haha i know what u mean when u talk about keepin your ride real clean and other people still get all the looks... On my tC, i have blue headlight leds, blue interior neon, and a cat back exhaust. But when i roll with my friend who has an SRT-4 he gets all the looks just cuz his car makes a PSHHHH noise!! And it's stock! (besides the blow off valve)

We'll see who gets all the looks when MY car goes PSHHHH!!!

Well my car no longer has the turbo because I keep getting pulled over, stupid cali laws. But those guys still think that I still have the turbo cause they still give me the stink eye lol

i found that too. i was cruising down the highway and came along one. i looked over as i waved and it was a female driver and she just gave me a dirty look. i thought to myself wow.
