Wave to fellow tc's?

Is it just me, or are all of these scion owners stuck up? I mean dont get me wrong, I know ALL of them arent. But I live in pa, and I drove to Long Island NY for the weekend. I must have seen 10+ tc's and waved/honked/flashed all of them. I only got a few waves/honks/flashes back. Why is is that we arent more loving towards one another? We need to all join hands, and share our love and joy with our fellows tc...ers...hahaha

well for me it deppends if that person looks friendly or a good looking girl then of course i would wave back but they look like a stalker then i hit the gas and leave them in the dust lol

I did it all the time for the first few months, now it is like everyother car is a tC. It became a chore to wave to them all so I only wave if they wave at me.

Most tC drivers around Kansas City seem stuck up. I always look to see if they'll acknowledge me, and they never do. Guess I need to start making the first move, haha.

Honestly, I've moved on to just giving a "head nod" as it is much more time and energy efficient means of acknowledgement of tC community and owership.

i've ranted a little about this before. towards the beginning it was more of a cultural thing. now it's pretty much a mainstream car. the emphasis doesnt seem to be on community and family. they just sell so many. like bwood said, there are a lot on the road. i see more and more older people with them.

i definitely try to acknowledge people, but its hard to when you arent a little tricked out and the person you're waving to isnt either. an exhaust and tints dont count cuz you cant see that (that's all i got - so i know)

we arent a cult like jeep wrangler owners or corvette owners. they always wave to each other.

when i had my bike i would get waved at by anyone on a motorcycle, choppers and all. It didnt even matter that I was on a crotch rocket, they all would put the hand out. The motorcycle community is alot more tighter tho, like if you go 2 a bike night you would be befriended by anyone on 2 wheels. People are really materialistic now a days, they see you with something nice and wana be yurrrr friend til the end. Now I dont ride anymore and no1 on bikes wants anything to do with me, not to mention most the people i used to ride/hang with even talk to me anymore. faaakkk em. TC TIME!

I get alot of looks cause my headlights, alot of "ohh wow whered u get those, what kind of lights are those?" May I add headlight will get you noticed and I dont just mean changing out the bulb. $200 on ebay will get people to break necks Coupled with a grill, you will be loved and envyed by alot of scion owners. I can attest.

but that is the issue i have, it seems like you will only get noticed by fellow tuners when you have something aftermarket --- not just by the general tC owner because you share the common tC car (or Scion car to go along with beyond's comments getting waves from all bikers). it should be tighter, but it isn't and i dont think it will be. i dont get noticed cuz i have an exhaust and tints - you dont notice the exhaust unless you look for it, and you dont notice me waving most of the time!

Yah, first of all, all civics DO sound the same.
My buddy has one with a b-18 swap and it's still slow and sounds like crap lol

Here in AZ, there's this guy that lives by me with a blue tc and we always stare each other down when we pass. its pretty hilarious. i already know id smoke him and he knows it too lol. but id like to talk to him one of these days and share experiences lol

yea there a guy and girl who own a tC down the street from me - they say hi, but i think they're just bein friendly. they dont take care of their tC either. i have to walk by it everyday walking jewell. it's terrible. it actually hurts - i'll take pics of it. you'll cry!

lol lol .. wen i see how sucky ppl treat there cars especially tC's it does hurt .. but then again u hav to remember they just want it to drive .. there not like us ..
for example if u hav a project car ur goin to need a beater car to get around bcuz ur project car is for the track .. we concider civic's and other trash cars to be our beaters .. maybe there beater car is the tC (all year round) sucks but .. hey
