Darius,
With any car, the questions you need to ask yourself is:
"Do I want to drive a car or ride a car?"
"Do I need control of my car or do I want it to do the thinking for me?"
"Do I like to cruise or am I an adrenaline junkie?"
Seriously though, if you are the type to talk on a cellphone while driving, or flip through your Ipod while on the freeway sipping your latte and eating ho-ho's, then do NOT buy a 5-speed.
Peace love and chicken grease...

Haha, yeah . . what davito said
I used to drive auto. Don't know much about manual yet . . but bought my tC and it's manual. I'm learning!! Just hills and downshifting left and i'm ready! I like manual better. Auto is great but boring! My opinion of course.
get the manual. i got out of an auto into the manual tc and i will never go back to an auto until i have kids but that will be the suv daddys car will still be a stick.
