i just bought my Tc about 3 weeks ago and i got the extended warranty since i financed the car for 5 years and it is only under a 3 yr warranty...i figured it was worth the money in case any thing happens after i finish paying the car...i think its a good idea if you dont want to get stuck paying for a lot of mechanial issues in the long run

I would have gotten the extended warranty if i didn't think i would be voiding the warranty pretty soon. Damn the need for speed.

Being that scion's are toyota manufactured, there is really no point. They are very reliable cars, and warranties are a waste of money. Unless you expect the engine to fall out, I wouldn't buy one.

hey slip i agree with you 100% that toyotas are very reliable no doubt...reason i bought the warranty was cause this is the first car i've ever bought so as a security i thought it would be a good idea getting the warranty in case anything happened in the long run...i know though that once the warranty expires something will happen to the car..hahaha

No extended warranty for me, I've had My tC for 115 days and all ready have 10100 miles on it. I'm looking at 32K a Year which means that the car would be over milage very quickly..
