haha this forum kinda died a lil, but i still check up on it.

No worries, you can scour the net for tons of tC forums, it's hard to come by tuners that are as knowledgable and thorough as Navy.
So, I'm sticking around, offering my wrench head advice to those who need. =D

Glad ya guys have been picking up the slack. Soulbane, bout time ya showed back up. S/C for you? Thought you were the 120,000 RPM impeller type. About to toss my TRD for a Rotrex. Good to have you back.

Yeah, the California laws have becoming INCREASINGLY strict, an after market turbo is just simply asking for it.
It's easier to disguise an S/C with an upgraded pulley than a big shiny Garrett Turbo. Not to mention my exhaust manifold set up will look significantly more like stock. The tuning bug, NEVER goes away.

Yeah, it's just we have all the stringent pollution problems here in CA, not to mention all the green loving, global warming activists live here too.

There should be a performance car permit. These cars would have a broader criteria range for emissions, but still be required to be tuned properly. It would cost ya more, but allow those serious about their cars performance to push the envelope and not be punished.
Put it simple this way; Sponge Bob Simpleton Pants would not be able to afford running down the 405 in his rat trap '90 Civic with a rusted out header, crushed muffler, duct taped dryer hose intake, wrong spark plugs, smoke bellowing POS. On the other hand, Soulbane would be screaming down the PCH in his fly ride pushing 640WHP on 25lbs boost happy as a lark and not a worry in the world.
