    Question 05-06 07-08 supercharger

whats the differance besides the price. the 05 supercharger is 1800$, and my 07 supercharger is 3000$. anyone know why? if its just the flash that comes with the kit than im gettin the old kit cuz im gettin it tuned anyway. p.s. if its cuz it has different gutz like better bearings then ill cough up the extra change.

any info on this would be great

Only thing I can think of is the tune might be different, and there's a different adapter plate for the MAF sensor.

Air box mods are different, the pulley system was changed to a single idler pulley, the mounting bracket for the S/C housing is upgraded to redesigned one, and there might have been a change to fix that leaking oil seal problem. As far as tuning w/o the TRD map, your tuner/piggyback might have a hard time zeroing in on a good tune. This I am not sure about, but I do know that the OEM ECM does not like to take orders from anyone.
