switchin an auto to a manual

ya bro im going to do the same, i was just hopin the tranny was a little cheeper so i could do both. but ill just stick to the s/c

what else would u recomend for preformance? other then i/e/h and a s/c?

well i was thinking of going supercharger but from the reading i have done, like yes there both boost but really there the same. a supercharger boost is basically always, with a turbo you will sometimes have lag. If you go S/C you can always change the pulley with the NST pulleys i heard there real good and if you want to up the boost you can buy a piggy back and tune it and maybe get a lil more boost but it really depends how far you want to go...

unless i was reading wrong. i read in one of these threads that you need a tool that only toyota has to switch ur pully. will toyota still put the s/c in with the nst all ready in? our do i have to find someone to switch it out after? im just wondering because i dont want any surpises, u know what i mean? that would suck to buy a part, then toyota pull it out because of something stupid. when i get alittle bit more time im going to have to do some digging on that.

they had only autos at the dealer, and i didnt know that they would just order me a new one if i asked

ouch, i am sorry to hear that but i know how you feel. My wife drives the TC more then i do and i wanted a manual but she doesn't know how to drive one and isn't willing to learn so it kinda sucked.

Stuck with the auto for now but i am def getting a manual SOMETHING as soon as possible...other then my bike.... :-D

ya i was kickin myself in the ass when a week later my buddy told me they can do that. i felt like an idiot. but im good with it now i guess, i just need to hook it up u know
