Default Poor TC Design

After washing my car or after there is rain, its freakin annoying when you open the hatch and water drips into the trunk. What poor design by Scion/Toyota.

Try opening the hatch part way and running a towel around to get the water before it drips outside of the channels... doing this, I can get zero water inside the hatch and on the sides of my car after washing & drying.

I also just hold the trunk halfway up until all the water drips off. I do agree that it was horrible design on toyotas part.

Just about every car has this problem.

I agree. My Acura RSX and my girlfriend's CLK320 has the same problem as well. I do what everyone else does with my tC and RSX, I just lift the hatchback halfway and wipe as much as possible. Almost every car has this minor problem.

I think just most cars that have a hatch just have this problem from design. Ive had countless cars and this has always been a problem.

since we are talking about the poor desing aspect of the car, i was dissapointed when there was no rear wiper for the car...still that didnt stop me from buying it but it would have been since...especially when having to drive with snow here.

The dripping water really annoys me too! But like illusion said, most cars with a hatch have this problem. This is one of the MANY reasons I will never purchase another hatchback again.

What's funny about your comment is that in the Acura Integra community, they are all trying to remove their rear wiper, haha.
