Question I have a little issue.

Awhile back, I was cruising down the interstate doing about 80 and I hit a raccoon. Immediately after I hit it, I heard this horrible scraping sound. I pulled over and found that there was a plastic piece hanging down from the front and the lower grille had been knocked out. So, I walked back about 1/2 mile and found the lower grille which only had a few scratches on it. I put the grille in the trunk and was able to push the plastic piece up to where it wouldn't drag. The next morning I went out and was able to unbolt the plastic piece and completely remove it. I had a friend put the lower grille back in for me. Now, if you open the hood, you will see that the left side is open to where you can see the ground and the right is covered by the other plastic piece. I'm sure that the part was only there for windflow, but it still bothers me that it is not there. Is there anywhere where I can buy one? I have searched around and I can't seem to find a wrecked TC in a junkyard. Do you guys think I should just go to a dealer and see what they could do? I definately don't want to pay for them to put it on, but I worry that the prices will be astronomical. IF they have the part. Any advice? And sorry for the long story...

I appreciate the help. I'll see if I can't find it. I was thinking of either trying to find the part or going with Doc I's splittar. It replaces both of the splash guards. But I really would rather go with a drop first before I would go with the splittar. Otherwise it might look out of place.

Well, I posted. I don't know if anything will come back or not though. I don't like that forum. I'm really not a fan of the way it is set up. But nonetheless, we'll see what happens.

Well, right now I kind of have part of the right guard pushed up out of the way. I think I have to jack it up and get underneath to see if I can put some screws or bolts into it to keep it stable. The problem is, it's all in sections. The section I have bent up is attached to the entire fenderwell. I'll have to see what I can do. Thanks for the heads-up though.

honestly, the part you are lookin for is like 35 bucks and it is really easy to install. I hit a road cone LATE one evening and it ripped that same piece off. I bought a new one for i think 35, the new hardware for like 7 and put it on myself.
