Hey everyone, I have some horrible news. Last night (12/18/08) at around 11:30, I got t-boned by a drunk driver. Luckily, she hit the front right of my car (driver side wheel well) and it took most of the force of the hit. I was making a left turn at a stop sign when she attempted to pass me on a 2 lane road. She hit me, a witness behind us said my vehicle spun 360 degrees and the vehicle traveled forward about 50 feet or so before stopping. I was okay, however the driver of the other vehicle had to go to the hospital with mild injuries. I just dont understand why people feel the need to drive when drunk. I hope justice will be served, and her license revoked. This is currently the only picture I have of the accident, I need to upload the rest. Would anyone happen to know or have any idea if my insurance company will total the vehicle?
When I entered the vehicle, I was able to shift throughout all the gears without the clutch being opened. The front bumper on the passenger side was barely hanging on. I will upload more pictures of the other vehicle and more of mine. What do you guys think? Is "Simon" the Scion totaled?![]()

LOL. Sorry, I had to.

Its a bitter sweet victory as I get a new car, but I lose the first TC I had. My insurance company is phenomenal, theyre called New Jersey Manufacturers. Theyre giving me the highest value for the car, sales tax, and I get back my deductible from the womans insurance. Also, they are paying for my medical bills from the hospital, and the chiropractor. My cell phone (an iphone) was also destroyed in the accident and they are also paying for that. I want a new tc, but im going to go from dealer to dealer to get the best deal possible on a new one. Its a buyers market so hopefully I can pick one up dirt cheap. If not I was thinkin about this one:
