    Default Scion HID KIT

    Hi everyone , i'm planning to get HID for my scion 2009 Black Tc. I'm not sure which is the appropriate BULB to get and color? I live in the san francisco CAlifornia. Can anyone please direct me to getting the right BULB? thank u.

    What color are you looking for? Are you going more for looks or light output?

    Here's a write-up on HID's. http://www.club-tc.com/forums/lighti...-lighting.html

    Basically, if you want a nice blue (not the fake Honda blue) you would want to go with a kit anywhere between 6000k and 8000k. You'll get the most light output in this range. The bulb for the low-beams are 9006. I know this because I just switched my bulbs over to Sylvania Silverstars. I'm pretty sure it's the same size for the projectors. For the VRD fogs, I believe they are H3.
