Default Help please: Plastic underbody removal

Hi. I'm sort of new to the automotive scene and have never really fixed or modified anything on my car before. However, as is one of the misfortunes of commuting, I was driving to school one day and a chunk of metal from an 18-wheeler flew off and tore up the plastic paneling under my Tc. Only the front, center-most panel is damaged. I'll eventually get it replaced, but I don't currently have the time to do so. I was wondering if anyone out there knew how to remove this plastic panel...it starts to drag when I drive 65+mph and gets really annoying.

I checked myself and found that the panel seems to be attached by some black plastic tabs of some sort. I would have removed it right then, but I didn't know if the tabs were supporting something else as well.

Does anyone know how to remove this? And what tools(if any) would I need to do so? Thanks for your time.

I doubt those tabs do anything other than hold those panels. Those panels are really just for aerodynamics. I haven't gone under there to look though.

I just got under the car yesterday to change my oil and look at that panel. It is only the wind diffuser like i thought. You can go ahead and take it off.
