question about tc release 5.0

I'm about to purchase one and was wondering from fellow tc owners.. is it worth the money? and if givin the chance what would you add to this ( mod wise)?

I personally love the 5.0 and wish I would of waited a bit longer to get my tC. As for mods, I'm not sure what I would get (I'm new to mods )

I think it's a bad ass looking TC. If I didn't get such a steel on mine and I was still in the market, I would totally be interested.

(I got an '06 nearly fully loaded with TRD upgrades used from CarMax for $15K in '07. They did not price the car correctly taking into consideration all the TRD upgrades, so I did the math and I pretty much got nearly 9K worth of upgrades on it for the same price a stock one was going for used, one year old at the time).

My point is, I would totally try to pick up the 5.0 if I did not steal mine from CarMax.

yea I liked the rims as well.... i want to get a knight rider light and red gound lighting as well..... knight rider-esk lol just need turbo boost button and rocket launchers and im good to go

I don't know which post you are talking about but ZPI has been dead for about 3 years now.

Yep, this one looks like the RS1.0 lineup. Well worth the measly $2300 to have the last Release Series for this model.

The pics show the TRD (Stoptech) BBK up front. That is over half the price of the $2300 dollars right there. Scion really pulled out the stops on this one. It is funny how I can't seem to find the RS5.0 on Scion.Com.

yea bbk is not apart of that package.. spoiler also is not included they advertise that they a special spoiler... but all it is is the black color painted on it makes it special spoiler hence the star lol

In this video from the auto show, they show the car VERY WELL. You get a great look at it from several angles. Note that not only are the brakes mentioned, by they are also shown.

Is the TRD Brake Kit for sure made by Stoptech?

I want to get the kit and wanted to put matching rotors on the back and have actually been wondering forever who made the kit so I could find the matching rotors for the rear.

If the do, it appears you can only get the rotors from them for the TC in a set of 4, front AND back. Which sucks.

couple of minute details have been changed since this vid was made. the brake system is an extra add-on ( $$$ ) but there is actually 2000 made. wheels are right along with exhaust. still sweet lookin ride

I didn't realize they actually came with extras. I honestly thought the RS's were a stupid rare color with that stupid suede or whatever interior... Interesting.
