3rd gear went out on my transmission!....

Started up my car the next day after letting a girlfriend of mine drive my car and 3rd gear grinded everytime I shifted I dont how it happened but yeah lol I was wasted and I was shifting for her LOL anywho I went to the dealership and they are like you need a new transmission I was about to die when I first heard that... because we all know how much a new tranny is.. BUT he then said it would be covered under warrenty!

So now im also getting a new light weight flywheel from dezod & a stage 3 clutch in preperation for a turbo kit

Don't expect a new tranny. They are probably going to repair it though I have been told by Service Managers that techs only pull and replace parts as assemblies and not actually repair them. I think this might not be correct as the manuals break down in detail on spec'n out assemblies and replace defective parts.

They already told me they ordered a bran new tranny so idk what else to go off of :P

Let's hope that it is a new one as most Techs at the Dealership don't know squat about rebuilding trannys.

Well I would hope so because they wouldnt let me install a LSD with them...
