Coming from the rear or the front? How many miles on your car? What suspension mods do you have?

If the noise is coming from the front when the tires are fully turned then expect it to be wheel bearings. That was the problem with the civic I had (chalk it up to months of abuse) and it need to be professionally repaired because the bearings were compressed. There was no way I could fix it on my own. Hope that the tC isn't the same. If it is. LOL just playing its nothing to serious or costly. It cost me $60 just to get it compressed and $200 for the full job. I got it compressed and then repaired it myself. It's not difficult, just time consuming.
come on Navy, you know my issues with my car :P
<4000 miles on it
its not when the wheel is turned all the way, its normal driving that i hear the pop, not just hard turns (but more common if i have to turn harder). Sounds like the front right tire. and the only mod i have on it is a bumper sticker
Maybe that bumper sticker is not on straight.
This could be a bad strut or upper strut mount. Do you have a strut bar? Check the 3 upper mounting nuts for tightness.
Are these the OEM struts or did you get the TRD struts? It may have not been reassembled correctly.
Upper strut mounts usually make a pop noise only during a hard turn when they first begin to go bad. As the wheels go to hard left/right, the strut rotates slightly. This is why it is critical to assemble the upper strut mount in the correct orientation. This sometimes only occurs when the front suspension is in transit as in going over a speed bump or making a sharp turn up a rounded curb into a driveway.
Also need to check the lower mounting bolts. Don't forget to inspect the speed sensor and brake line for binding. The lower ball joint could be bent.

If your wheel bearings were over-torqued, then you would have more of a whirring noise. This would eventually lead into a grinding noise. A loose axle nut could cause the pop noise but I think that you would feel the sloppiness in the front-end handling and steering. When the CV joints on an axle goes bad, you will hear clicking noises. This can be easily check by backing the car in hard right then left circles. Once you start your backwards turn, give the car some gas. If you are not hearing clicking noises, then your CV joints are most likely OK.
The center cap on your wheels could be loose or not seated properly. This has been known to cause a constant noise that manifests as a squeak, pop, or click.
The strut endlinks and/or mount bushings could be worn or loose. A K-Member bolt could be loose. As you can see, the list goes on and on. Not difficult to investigate, but time consuming. Without getting hands on, this is about the best I can do.

well another dealership looked at it for 5 hours today and inspected everything from the barrings to the power steering system and couldn't find a thing wrong :'( Am I just hearing things and going insane?
They never do. I think it is their standard answer. The pull on my Camry was very noticeable. Took it back 6 times and it was always the same, "we can't discern any problem, rotate your tires". After it went back and forth, Toyota Customer Care assigned me a Case Manager. He directed the Dealership to take a good look at the car. The Service Manager himself test drove the car with me. Lo and behold, he agreed that there was a definite pull. The car was put on the rack for a full alignment and a new set of tires.

Describe the popping noise. Is it a clicking sound, clunky thuddering sound, etc? What speed does it come on? Could it be another Scion rattle like sound?
