    Default Replacing my clutch

Hi I own a scion 2006. I ve burnt my clutch and i gave it to a mechanic and he is supposed to return me the car the next day. But he is postponing since 5 days. Now i am worried if he might steal some orginal parts and replace them with used or after market parts.

Is there a chance that the mechanics steal parts or replace the other parts with duplicate?

If you went to a reputable shop, then they won't steal anything...

He would be an idiot to do so. Jeopordizing his shop over some parts? Highly unlikely if he wants to earn and more importantly keep his business. Then again Hennessey has done that in the past and he is still running shop.
