i got a 2009 with 4400 mile on it
got it December 2, 2008
I own my car and have the title. No more payments.![]()
Daaaaaaang. And I was starting to feel bad. Bought in April of 2008, before test drive she had 10 miles. After, 24. As of right now, 16,700. I own two thirds of my car! Darn that last $6,000![]()
They see me rollin', they hatin'! <3
I def don't feel as bad either any more. Mine is an '06 with just over 36K.
Bought it when it was 2 years old with 20K on it. I store it for the winter though.
Bought my car Feb 16 2008, i have 24500 miles on my TC already. i need to slow down.
Jeez. I see it's not just me that likes to drive around... I thought it was terrible that I had that much miles on my baby considering I've only been to Nashville and Baltimore as "major road trips" and my countless snowboarding trips.

I drive to Boston, Philly, all over Jersey, all over New York...So i know why i have so many miles...But my car still drives great and i haven't burned my clutch so i am still going.....On my set of brakes
Right on dudeIt's a great car to drive around. When I went to Nashville, which was a 10 hour drive, I forgot I was in a car. It was intense. I love how comfy and just all around spacious the car is. I was going to head up to Vermont this past winter but plans didn't quite work out. I'm probably driving to the Florida Keys once my buddy gets back from deployment. My friend bought a used tC in 07 I think. It was an 05 and when she got it, it had over 100k. That was intense. It's a Toyota and it will basically run forever. My dad had a 1996 Corolla with 225k and it still ran perfectly. The only issue was that the second cylinder misfired and he was too lazy to fix it. Toyotas seriously last FOREVERRRRR.

3 out of 4 and still rolling, if it was a dodge, it would have exploded....sorry America, rethink your dam engines a little bit more....![]()
Yeah seriously. I mean, it got horrible gas mileage but it still ran! I got that thing to go 110 when I was running late for class one day!!!! I think I was refueling like every 275 miles or something lol. It was bad. The odometer was also a bit sluggish. It told me that from my house to DC was 6 miles when it's closer to 30! Oh well. But still. It ran. And he even had a shady mechanic.

My ex and I had a '92 Corolla that she got when it was only a few years old. We had that car for about 6 years total and drove it EVERYWHERE. At one point we were putting 100 miles on it A DAY because we both used it daily and worked different shifts. So, it was abused quite badly, but dearly loved. Made multiple trips between Chicago and Buffalo too. 1000 miles both ways each time.
When we finally traded it in, it had 176,000 miles on it, and STILL ran like it was new. It had a little rust in the rear wheel wells like you commonly see on the old Corollas, but that was it.
We never had any problems with that little car. The most major repair it ever needed was a new distributor. I had to replace the exhaust once and the brakes a few times of course. But other than that, the only money we EVER dropped into that little car was oil changes and gas. I mean, that was IT. Can we say "low maintenance"???
Actually, that little car is the reason I came back to Toyota. Since that Corolla, I wanted another Toyota for years. When the TC came out, I was sold.
Yeah, they run FOREVER.
