2011 Scion tC RWD?

so my bf's sister took my idea and is getting a Super White tC... but she's got herself a deal with a 2010 and pink leather seats lol (the seats were hideous.) but today i was thinking about the newest model because they couldn't really tell us if anything was new on the '10 tC, so i began to google it.
apparently the 2011 tC will be RWD???? --->2011 Scion TC will be RWD - FQuick.com
i pointed this out to her because this Yahoo! Answers thing said the '10 would be RWD and that would be bad because she travels to NJ for work and in the winter that'd be a fail. So i start looking for most stuff and found that link. RWD and more horsepower... plus i found out the 2010 tC will have a redesign in the head/tail lights and i think bumper and interior as well??

i don't like this idea of RWD and more hp on the tC... it doesn't seem like the tC anymore.

after finding this, my bf started looking it up again and found the Scion Fuse?? why the Fuse? why not something along the lines of tC, xB, xA, xD? iQ? ...i'm sad and confused lol

the tC will never be produced as a RWD.

2010 will have no changes from the 2009 except for a switch of colors.. which they're just gonna replace a color on the lineup with one that was offered already in the past.

the Scion Fuse is a concept that came out years ago. further details on a production version is still nothing but rumors and alot of talking.

and obviously the iQ being the latest concept vehicle annouced... however its existence has actually been around for years as a Toyota concept.

i wouldent say never toyta and subi are working out a deals for a new coupe anything is possible but change\ing the orginal style of the tc from fwd to rwd unlikely but anything is possible sence this new friend ship has came to be who knows mabe they will start putting the boxer motor in the scions :P

I've read numerous articles. Some say that it is the new tC, others say that it will be a completely new Scion. As far as I know, yes, there is a joint venture going on with Toyota and Subaru. But I'm pretty sure the plans have been pushed back due to the economy. Original thoughts were a RWD or AWD Scion with a boxer engine. Whether or not it will ever happen is still up in the air. If the rumors are true and that is the case, I may be trading up. AWD with a 2.5 turbo and 6-speed sounds good to me. But maybe that's because I plan on getting an STI someday...

my thouhgt is that toyta was wanting to bring the celeica back but i was doing some more research and i found this as far as im conserned anything can happen at this point.

That is what the word coming from Toyota even though it has not been officially announced as the new Scion tC model. So all the hype is pretty much true, just not official. Originally due to be released for 2010 but Toyota's requirement for the purported EJ20 powerplant to be Direct Injection (DIS). This requires retooling and reengineering of the motor, hence, the delay.

i searched for the concept of the 2011 RWD one and i got that and the other one thats like an orangish color ill get it.
and i think i just found the twin that subaru will be making... am i correct?

that first picture is nothing but some guy's drawing..
the second is well.. a subaru... another drawing at that point.. really.

you can continue to hold your breath if you expect Scion to pull out a RWD drive vehicle anytime soon.

if you want to.. trade up for another car and don't worry about waiting.

and how do you know its not a tc?
were talking about a concept if there even is one available to see... so who knows what its going to look like. that silver car has the basic same shape as a tc i would say...
just the rear quarter is like widened out or something... idk how to describe it...

but i've never seen a photo of a real-life counterpart. (talking about the subaru)

and btw, the FT-86 was the Toyota/Subaru concept that was built.

Saw the photos and write up of the new Corrola. looks dope! No one is certain if it will be released as a Toyota and/or Subaru or a Scion. tCs were going to be different in 2010, but with the economic down turn, it just didn't make sense. But we can all speculate!
