Default tC... am I doing it wrong?

What I wanna talk about is how the tC is always viewed as a "Chick" car. I've always defended the tC, especially against Civic owners, who's only argument is that its a chick car. But they tend to forget that their moms probably had a civic.

Today on my way to college, everything was looking good. Besides the fact that there are a lot of tCs in my college, mine is the best looking. (not dented, not lowered to the asphalt, no huge plummer exhaust, nothing like that.).

As I pulled in my usual favorite parking spot, a blue G-String type tC pulls next to me. It is lowered, had retro fit headlights, nice chrome grille, a borla exhaust with a nice ass exhaust tip, a really nice navigation, leather seats, and I couldn't figure out if the engine had any work done, as when I looked to the left, the car was already off.

who was driving it? A chick. A cute, small CHICK.

So a Chick has a nicer tC than most.

    That is really aggravating...
Any one ever seen stuff like this? because I do not accept the tC being flammed as being a chick car.

We have all been down this road at some point. I had a guy at work tell me that my car was a "chick car" before. While he drives a Honda Accord. Anyway, I have seen many young women driving tC's and I see no problem with it because women drive all kinds of cars. I've seen huge trucks with big mudding tires and stacks and pulled up next to it only to find out that there's a gorgeous blonde driving. The tC is marketed towards the young generation. The price, the styling, it all comes into a nice bundle which makes it a perfect starter car for lots of people. And yes, I have seen tC owners with modded cars and female drivers. As a matter of fact, we have a regular here on this site. Her name is Stephanie and her work log can be found here. There's really no point in getting worked up about it. Everyone is going to hate. They always do. I, for one, don't care for Honda or Ford.

lol maybe it's a chick's car because of the slimness..? idk but i think of the RSX as a chick's car.. and civics? like the Si... they're totally just gh3y. IMO.
and that chick with the really nice tC either had her bf deck it up. or mommy and daddy did it for her.

i was at taco bell a while back and i saw a SUPER nice tC and a dude was driving it. the colored fogs, a nice exhaust, beautiful tails. it was a classy tC and i envied him just as much as you prolly envied that chick.

I would not discount that she does alot of the work on her tC or, at the least, work along side someone. Most of us started out that way working under the tutelage of someone more experience. I work with many young women in the Navy who get down and dirty with an airplane that is nearly older than them. They work on changing props, engines, tires, hyd lines, electronic gear, and such. We have a female LoadMaster (my job) that is just as good at the rest of us pushing heavy arse cargo around the World. Now, I know that my 16 year old Daughter would not be caught dead trying to change even a light bulb in a car. It is not that she is a priss, but more in that it is something that does not interest her. And to that point, so is my 20 year old Son with his RS3.0, though he was forced to change a starter on his old car because "Daddy" was overseas.
