    Default Car doesn't start

My TC is not starting. I had one of my neighbors give me a jump and the car started right away. But now that I'm at work I wanted to go to lunch and I was unable to because again my car wouldn't start. When i turn the ignition key it makes the click click sound. So i'm not sure if my battery is dead or what's going on, any suggestions?

Battery is probably dead. I believe our batteries come with a small meter on them that tells you if it is failing. You may also want to get the alternator checked.

The stock battery has a circular viewport on the top. Instructions on how to read it are imprinted on the battery top. The battery could be have a shorted cell (lead plate) or a crack that leaked all of the battery fluid (sulfuric acid) out. A dead battery could also be from an alternator issue. This could be a bad alternator, charging circuit, or a blown fuse. Best and easiest way to trouble shoot is to head to Autozone or other auto parts store. They can load test the battery and check the alternator output. You can also check the alternator output by disconnecting the battery after the engine is started with nothing but the headlights on. If the engine doesn't kill then the alternator is most likely OK.

One thing to note here. If your battery was depleted, it would take driving on the highway for 30 minutes or more to get a near full charge on the battery. Jump starting and city driving, with the stereo, lights, 12V accessories, etc; for 15 minutes is just not enough. Also, if you frequently make short 5~10 minute trips with a heavy load on the alternator, you may end up with a battery that is depleted over time.
